A standard visa to enter the Russian Federation is issued for up to 3 months and can be single or double entry. At the same time, you can apply for a multiple-entry business visa for a period of 1 to 5 years, subject to certain conditions.

To obtain a business visa for one or more entries to the Russian Federation, the applicant must provide the following documents:

1. Invitation to enter the Russian Federation
& mdash; An invitation from the host organization in the Russian Federation.
& mdash; or an invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
& mdash; or Decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation to issue a visa with a seal and signature, which must contain:

& bull; For the invited person: passport (name, surname, passport number, passport validity period, citizenship, date of birth), purpose and duration of the visit, number of entries, route;
& bull; For the receiving organization: name (company or organization), address and registered office of the receiving organization, identification number and date of registration, reference document number, signature, name and surname, contacts of the person in charge in Russia, seal of the inviting organization.
In case a single or double-entry visa, a copy of the invitation is sufficient, in the case of a multiple-entry visa - the original.

To apply for a multiple-entry visa, you must also provide a copy of the previous visa to the Russian Federation, which was used up to 12 months before submission of documents to the visa center. If the application for a multiple-entry visa is filed at the invitation of the host company, the applicant must have already been issued a Russian visa (any type of visa, except for transit) during the last year, which he used last year and can prove this using stamps in the foreign passport. If this condition is not met, a multiple entry visa cannot be issued. Copies of these visas and stamps must be provided when applying for a multiple entry visa.


2. Completed visa application form
An application for a visa is formed on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (if you are interested, it can be found here and must be personally signed by the applicant. Please note that the dates of entry and exit indicated in the application must coincide with the dates indicated in other documents.

The passport must be valid for at least six months after the expiration of the visa and must contain at least one free double page.

4. Copy of foreign insurance
Travel insurance must be valid for the entire period of stay in Russia (for single / double entry visas) or valid on the first visit (for multiple entry visas).

NOTE - confirmation of insurance must contain :

* full name of the insured person;
& bull; all data of the insurer;
& bull; date of signing the contract;
* insurance number;
& bull; list of rendered medical and medical transport services, including repatriation;
*; the territorial coverage of the insurance must cover the whole world, including the Russian Federation, or Europe, including the Russian Federation (the entire territory, not just the European part of the country);
& bull; the minimum coverage must be EUR 30,000;
& bull; insurer's signature (optional in case of employer-provided insurance or e-insurance).

Confirmations of insurance that do not comply with the above instructions will not be accepted.

The attached photo to an application for a visa to the Russian Federation must meet the following requirements:

* The photograph should be 3.5 x 4.5 cm on a WHITE background so that the facial features are clearly visible and contrast with the background.
& bull; The photo must not be older than 6 months, i.e. that the photo was taken no later than 6 months ago.
& bull; Photos must be of high quality, with an emphasis on the face.
& bull; Photos must be printed on regular photo paper.
& bull; Photo must be in color.
& bull; The photograph must show the entire face without a smile (no sunglasses, hat or other headgear if the applicant is not wearing this headgear for religious reasons or because of a particular ethnic group).

Note: ATTENTION! great attention is paid to the accuracy and quality of photography. If the photo does not meet these requirements, the application will not be accepted.

6. A person who is not a citizen of the Czech Republic must provide other documents in addition to the above documents.
a. Residence permit in the Czech Republic valid for more than 90 days (this provision applies to citizens of the following countries: Albania, Bahrain, Venezuela, Haiti, Egypt, Ireland, Lesotho, Libya, Macedonia, Mali, Mexico, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Japan).

In accordance with national legislation, the following documents can serve as proof of a residence permit in the Czech Republic valid for more than 90 days: student / work visa, work permit, long-term residence permit, permanent residence permit.

b. Permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic or similar document for citizens of the following countries: Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Georgia, India, Iraq, Iran, China, North Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Syria, Somalia, Turkey, Chad, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia.

Important notes:
The Embassy of the Russian Federation or the Consulate General of the Russian Federation has the right to request additional documents or call the applicant for an interview during visa processing.
< The Russian visa is issued by a department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, when applying for a visa, a consular fee is paid. The Russian-Czech Mixed Chamber of Commerce does not charge additional fees for the consular fee. The Russian-Czech Mixed Chamber of Commerce provides clients with the necessary administrative work or consulting and courier services related to the processing and filing of visa applications or representing the client at the consulate of the Russian Federation. Prices for service work are set by the price list of services. All forms required for obtaining a visa are provided to clients free of charge.

Forged documents and questionnaires with false information will lead to a refusal to apply for a visa to Russia or even a ban on entry to Russia. The issuance of a visa is entirely dependent on the decision of the Consulate of the Russian Federation. If a consular office refuses to issue a visa to Russia, all consular and service fees are non-refundable.
