On August 12, an expanded meeting of the Committee for the Development of Foreign Economic Activity at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Territory took place, which was held in the video conference mode. The event was organized jointly with the Center for Coordination of Export Support of the Krasnodar Territory, a regional subdivision of the Russian Export Center JSC. and the Russian-Czech Mixed Chamber of Commerce with the participation of Martin Pospisil, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Policy of the Czech Republic.
Consul General of the Russian Federation in the city of Brno, Alexander Alexandrovich Kalachev, representative of the administration and the Central Committee for the Promotion of Electrochemistry of the Krasnodar Territory, Vladimir Anatolyevich Gladkov. During the conference, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Territory and the Russian-Czech Mixed Chamber of Commerce.
First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Territory Yegor Robsky and the head of the Russian-Czech Mixed Chamber of Commerce Inga Pikhnovskaya agreed to cooperate with the aim of expanding and strengthening economic ties between the two countries. The document refers to the cooperation of the chambers in organizing fairs, exhibitions, seminars and business missions, supporting trade and investment activities of Czech and Russian companies, exchanging information on the state of the markets for goods and services.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the signing of the Memorandum contributes to the further strengthening and development of business cooperation between the two countries.
Roman Vorotnikov, Director of the Krasnodar Region Export Support Center, noted that the Czech Republic is a promising market for Kuban producers. Since 2016, REC has conducted three business missions of entrepreneurs to the Czech Republic. As a result, 10 manufacturers of the Krasnodar Territory signed contracts for the supply of their products for a total of 200 million rubles, several companies opened their representative offices in the Czech Republic. The cooperation of the REC with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Territory and the signing of the Memorandum will contribute to the further development of the region's foreign economic activity, R. Vorotnikov believes.
The plans began to be implemented immediately. Ten Kuban companies presented their products. Among them are FORKOM LLC, SPECTR LLC, DOVOD LLC, VITAGRIN LLC and others. RCHSTP expressed its readiness to work out proposals of entrepreneurs of the Krasnodar Territory for the supply of products to the Czech Republic.
